Art at Work designed a supporting event for this community festival to reflect the values, aspirations and desired outcome of the Titirangi community. Sue designed an art trail for local families to participate in while attending the music events.
Titirangi Festival of Music
Sue designed an art trail for local families to participate in while attending the music events.
The teaching space in the gallery provided workshops to make musical instruments, trumpets, percussion and drums. Celeste Strewe, body artist, decorated the children with glow-in-the-dark paint so they could dance and play under the UV lights at Lopdell Theatre with Taime from the Green Room and Georgia, Glen, Tracy and myself made Rooster headdresses to work alongside the theme of the festival. The art trail proved to be a great success with dozens of children participating in the activities. A big thank you to all the volunteers who generously helped out on the day.
